What is the difference between normal consulting services and the program called "Compliance StrategiesTM"?

Consulting and engineering companies normally provide services on a "time and materials" basis. An agreement is made that sets the hourly rate of various skill personnel and the charges associated with equipment, travel and subcontracted services. The project has a set budget amount and a "not to exceed" amount.  The project has a specific scope and when the scope is completed, the project is completed. If you want additional services, the project is amended or a new project is started.

Compliance StrategiesTM is a program that provides the best of both worlds.  Experienced professionals who know the regulations as well as the processes start by performing a comprehensive facility audit and determine applicable regulatory requirements.  This "Roadmap" is used to determine what permits, reports, process logs and employee training is necessary to obtain compliance.  Maintaining compliance is achieved through management of the various programs and regularly schedule site inspections. The cost of  Compliance StrategiesTM is based on a set monthly fee (plus "out of pocket" expenses).  No surprises, no hidden fees. Out of pocket fees include long distance charges, laboratory fees and mailing.

Does the monthly fee include the completion of the application for obtaining permits?

Yes. The additional expenses are the application fees from the regulatory agency. These fee usually run from $100 - $450.

How do you manage all of the documents?

At the facilities, all documentation is managed in three ring binders.  Mounce & Associates provides  the binder system and is set up by regulatory program. This system is designed to make document management easy.   Mounce & Associates personnel review the documentation during each site visit.

How do you perform employee training?

Employee training is performed using a combination of Instructor based classroom training and video training. Most clients prefer video training. This allows them the flexibility to schedule numerous training classes around production schedules and vacation schedules. Mounce & Associates provides the videos, training sign sheet, class outline, training program and supporting information.

How will I get charged for the services?

We mail out all invoices on the 25 day of the previous month.  We require payments of net 30 days. This means that while we are working for you, our invoice is being processed by your Accounts Payable.

What if I want Mounce & Associates Personnel to visit my facility more often?

We have several options. If the increase site visits are for an extended period, we can increase the monthly fee a minimal amount to cover the extra visits.  We have several clients that want us to perform site visits on a weekly basis.  The other option (short term) is to request the additional site visits and pay our hourly rate for the visits. This option is more expensive and we prefer to use this option short term.

What are the "Out of Pocket" expenses?

Out of pocket expenses include such things as federal express fees and signs.  We also charge mileage for traveling to and from your facility.  If we are required to stay overnight, then we charge for hotel and meals at cost.  For other more expensive items, we obtain approval from our clients before we charge you. These items include such things as laboratory fees and equipment.

How do you schedule site visits?

Most site visits are scheduled on a monthly basis.  We fax all clients a scheduled site visit notification which identifies the date we will be at your facility. For facilities that want a specific time, we arrange an appointment time.
